We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling high-quality cabinetry and furniture pieces. Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to produce customised cabinetry and furniture.
Fabricate components using various hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques.
Assemble finished pieces with attention to detail and quality standards.
Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and finish materials.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and finishes for each project.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to promote safety and productivity.
Skills
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry work.
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and measuring devices.
Skilled in using power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques relevant to cabinetry production.
Experience with roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy materials.
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise craftsmanship.
Knowledge of construction painting or finishing techniques is a plus.
