Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced consulting or professional services environment as a Benefits Specialist or Administrator.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Highly collaborative and action-oriented, with the ability to build relationships across different departments.
  • Self-driven and proactive, willing to dive into details and do whatever it takes to complete tasks.
  • Operationally focused and capable of creative thinking and tactical delivery.
  • Proficient in using metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Known for discretion, empathy, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, attention to detail, and common sense.
  • Client service-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with the firm\'s strategy and business priorities and ensure that benefit strategy aligns with them.
  • Collaborate with various departments, HR teams, vendor partners, and firm leaders to achieve business-aligned benefit goals.
  • Manage the relationship with the Third Party Administrator (TPA) and other vendors for firm benefit plans.
  • Assist with the enrollment process by providing accurate plan information to the TPA and broker/consultants.
  • Identify and resolve issues by working with internal partners or vendors.
  • Compile data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Keep plan documents and benefits documentation updated, communicated to employees, and properly stored.
  • Review compliance reporting requirements and communicate with plan participants.
  • Gather data and census information for benefits offerings, reporting, and vendor needs.
  • Provide a comprehensive and personalized benefits experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Assist with administering local leave of absence policies, including ill-health and family leave, and provide support to employees when needed.
  • Support the People Operations and Employee Relations team with various tasks.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
