THE ROLE

This role will be based in our Weymouth Office

Responsible for maintaining and supporting the BI application environment Responsible for providing proactive analysis enabling the business to make swift business decisions Specialise in leveraging tools like SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI, VisualCron, and ServiceNow to design, automate, and maintain robust reporting and support solutions across the business

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Service Operations



Develop, maintain, and optimise reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects and Power BI Use ServiceNow to triage, respond to, and investigate support calls and incidents, ensuring efficient resolution and documentation Automate data workflows and scheduled tasks using VisualCron, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery Maintaining and governing reporting schedules and support these during UK office hours as well as at the weekend (in rotation with members of the BI team) Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms Educate and train users to use the BI Application environment and the data held within it to foster a self-sufficient and self-service environment Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting best practices. Having an interest in going beyond the obvious, delving into the source and the definition in order to explain complex processes / data Understand how data is turned into information and knowledge and how that knowledge supports and enables key business processes Providing data that is accurate, consistent and reliable and ensure the information is easily available to users. This can involve updating data held within Business Intelligence databases Document processes, data models, and reporting standards to support knowledge sharing and scalability

WHO YOU ARE

Experience with reporting tools SAP Business Objects and Power BI Experience with support and incident management Experience with data analysis using SQL, Excel or DAX Experience with VisualCron for report automation (desirable) Experience in working with data to provide analysis and reporting using an operational or Business Intelligence tool set Designing and developing reporting and dashboard solutions (desirable) Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts (desirable) Excellent logical, problem solving and numeracy skills Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
