hybrid

between our head office in Wimborne and home

To work cross functionally over all of Farrow & Ball's global departments and stakeholders to transform data into information using business intelligence, statistical analysis techniques and machine learning.


The role will form part of centralised IT reporting function, working to ensure that our central reporting system supports the needs of F&B, empowering the business to grow through data driven decisions.


The role will also assist with the strategic direction of Farrow & Ball's information and business systems to ensure ongoing operational excellence and efficiency.


What we expect from you as a BI Analyst.




Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain ETL solutions using SSIS Assist in developing and maintaining the data warehouse (SQL Server). Develop and maintain Power BI datasets (semantic models) and reports. Monitor the operations of the reporting architecture, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and Power BI semantic models, proactively managing any issues on a day-to-day basis. Optimise and maintain reporting schedules to ensure timely distribution of required management information. Perform data analysis to support business decisions. Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to provide solutions to problems. Merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored analysis to colleagues, customers, or the wider organisation. Produce and maintain clear and coherent documentation of processes, data models, reports, and methodologies. Produce analysis, reports, and dashboards using various tools as required. Develop clear reports that tell compelling stories about customer interactions with the business. Act as a service centre for company-wide ad-hoc reporting queries and needs, maintaining a strong service SLA approach within an Agile development model. Collaborate with departments to understand their data needs.
