In this role, you'll be the trusted expert who helps turn raw data into meaningful insights that support colleagues across the organisation. You'll guide the implementation of our BI strategy, nurture reporting and analytics processes, and work in close partnership with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to empower thoughtful, informed decision-making.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance building and shaping our self-serve analytics capabilities with encouraging a supportive, data-informed culture across the business.
Wh
at You'll Do
Use your expertise in quantitative analysis and data storytelling to bring numbers to life, seeing beyond the data to understand how our members engage with our products, their needs, and challenges, and how these insights can positively influence our strategy
Thoughtfully use data to size opportunities, measure performance, and ensure our self-serve tools make it easy for colleagues to feel confident about how we're doing
Collaborate with teams to define meaningful metrics that matter, supporting stakeholders and liaising with developers and engineers to collect the right data and deliver clear, valuable insights
Build and maintain data products that empower colleagues to self-serve, helping teams access the insights they need quickly and consistently. You'll also take care of developing the semantic layer of our business, ensuring data quality and integrity alongside modern best practices
Support wider initiatives by carrying out in-depth analysis and sharing well-rounded recommendations to guide the business forward
Work closely with teams to spot gaps in data, processes, or capabilities, and proactively help elevate our existing data landscape
Stay curious and open to learning, keeping up with industry trends and best practices, including attending relevant events

A collaborative, impact-driven mindset, with strong curiosity for understanding user behaviour and a genuine desire to make a positive difference to Blue Light Card, our members, partners, and colleagues
Ability to translate business problems into clear, actionable tasks, drawing conclusions and communicating insights in an inclusive and engaging way to a variety of stakeholders
Experience in data storytelling, including the confidence to present ideas and inspire others with well-grounded, data-led recommendations
Commitment to both your own growth and your team's development, identifying opportunities to learn and improve in line with market trends and best practices
