Role Overview
We're seeking a motivated Bid Manager to lead our tender responses and grow into a senior commercial leadership role. You'll:
Manage full bid lifecycle for fire safety tenders (RFI, RFP, ITT), liaising with technical, pricing, and operations teams
Craft compelling technical and commercial content that differentiates Preventr
Conduct bid/no-bid analysis and opportunity qualification
Work closely with senior leadership on strategy, pricing, and go/no-go decisions
Coordinate submission planning and ensure compliance and high-quality delivery
Over time, take ownership of bid processes, mentor sales staff, and support commercial negotiations
You'll Have:
Proven bid management and writing experience
- ideally in fire safety, building services, M&E, security or similar sectors
Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines under pressure
Commercial awareness to develop winning pricing strategies and win themes
Proficiency in MS Office and bid tools (pricing models, document platforms)
Self-motivated, strategic thinker, team player
Preferably degree educated
Progression Path
Year 1-2
: Lead bid responses and writing; refine processes and win rates
: Take on Director-level duties--owning commercial outcomes, bid team leadership, and business unit performance
