We are seeking a skilled individual to take charge of bid writing for a diverse array of organisational tenders, producing high-quality bid responses.
You will oversee the entire bid process, which includes researching opportunities, collecting input from colleagues, and developing clear and engaging proposals that align with client requirements. Additionally, you will maintain a repository of bid content, analyse feedback to enhance future submissions, and develop presentations and marketing materials.
Furthermore, you will spearhead our social media efforts by creating professional and engaging campaigns and informative content aimed at driving growth through our website and social media platforms, thereby helping to convey our narrative
Responsibilities
Analyse tender documentation to identify key client drivers and shape tailored response strategies..
Collaborate with the team to plan and storyboard answers, ensuring compliance and maximum scoring potential.
Translate complex technical input into clear, engaging, and customer-centric narrative.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate and relevant content.
Ensure submissions are presented professionally and delivered on time.
Write, edit, and proofread high-quality bid and proposal content, tailored to client requirements
Translate technical and operational input from subject matter experts into clear, concise, and persuasive responses
Ensure all submissions are fully compliant, accurate, and delivered on time
Support the development of win themes, storyboards, and value propositions
Maintain a library of bid content, case studies, and standard responses
Collaborate closely with managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
Assist in post-bid reviews and continuously improve the quality of written submissions
Spearhead our social media efforts by creating professional and engaging campaigns and informative
Requirements
Proven experience in writing, editing, or related roles with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in Word processing applications such as Microsoft Word or equivalent software.
Strong proofreading skills with an eye for detail to identify errors and inconsistencies.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position provides an excellent platform for aspiring writers looking to refine their craft while contributing meaningfully to organisational projects in a professional setting.
