We're looking for a talented
Bid Writer
to help us shape and submit compelling, high-quality bids that reflect our commitment to health, wellbeing, and innovation.
About the Role
Supported by the wider Growth Team, they will be responsible for researching, developing, writing, and evaluating bids, as well as capturing lessons learned to inform future tenders and proposals.
We are looking for someone who enjoys writing and has an interest in, and understanding of the healthcare landscape. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects across health and wellbeing.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct research
to support informed, competitive bids aligned with strategy and market intelligence
Write, collate and develop
clear, concise, and persuasive content based on bid documentation/information, research, and Market Intelligence
Prepare compliant bid documents and proposals
Edit and proofread content
to ensure clarity, consistency, and the inclusion of strong 'win themes'
Produce case studies
that showcase our success stories
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
to gather accurate and insightful content
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Relevant professional writing or allied experience
Strong written English skills and a passion for clear, effective communication
Experience in writing reports or similar professional content
An interest in healthcare, with knowledge of the NHS or healthcare services considered a plus
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
A proactive and resilient attitude, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Desirable:
Experience writing bids, tenders, or business cases
Previous experience in the NHS or healthcare sector
An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
Interview dates:
First-stage interviews will be held virtually on
29th August 2025
and will last approximately
30 minutes
.
Candidates who are successful at this stage will be invited to attend a second, in-person interview, which will last approximately 1 hour. The date for the second interview will be communicated following completion of the first-stage interviews.

This role will require working from our base office at
Bank Top Support Centre
, Black Hill Rd, Leeds
LS21 1PY.
Please note that there is no public transport to our head office where this role would be based, so own transport would be required.
