About the Role



To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to craft compelling, high-quality bids that secure new opportunities for proactive and preventative services. You will play a key role in developing winning proposals that align with NHS, social care, and partnership commissioning frameworks.

This role requires an understanding of the commissioning landscape and the ability to translate Careium's value proposition into engaging, persuasive bids.

Key Responsibilities



Bid Development:

Lead and coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.

Content Creation:

Write, edit, and proofread bid responses, tailoring messaging to highlight Careium's strengths.

Strategic Planning:

Work with internal teams to develop winning bid strategies aligned with company objectives.

Bid Library Management:

Maintain a repository of bid responses, case studies, and supporting documents.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure all bid submissions meet regulatory and contractual requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with teams across sales, operations, and technical functions to gather key information.

Market & Industry Awareness:

Stay up to date with Telecare trends, procurement regulations, and competitor activity.

Key Skills & Experience Required



Experience:

At least five years in bid writing, tender management, or proposal development.

Commissioning Knowledge:

Strong understanding of

NHS, social care, and partnership development

.

Writing Excellence:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.

Project Management:

Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous approach to proofreading and ensuring compliance with bid requirements.

Desirable Skills



Knowledge of

Telecare, healthcare, or public sector procurement

. Experience with

TSA and ISO audit requirements

. Familiarity with

bid tracking and document management tools

.
