As a Bid Writer at Hutton Construction, you will help us win new business by producing high-quality, persuasive written submissions. You will have the chance to learn from experienced colleagues, develop a strong understanding of the construction industry, and see your work directly contribute to the company's growth and success.

What You will Be Doing

Writing and editing compelling content for SQs, ITTs, and tender responses Collaborating with project teams to gather technical information and shape strong submissions Conducting research to tailor responses to client needs and bid criteria Assisting with content creation for marketing, blogs, and social media where needed Helping maintain and develop our bid library and templates for future use

What We are Looking For

Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills -- perhaps from studying journalism, English, or a similar discipline Some workplace experience in writing-focused roles (such as content creation, marketing, or editorial work) Ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging, client-focused content Strong research and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word (experience with InDesign is a bonus) A proactive approach and ability to meet deadlines
