We're looking for dedicated Somali-speaking Teaching Assistants to join a friendly and inclusive school in Bristol. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) -- and make a real difference from day one.

Your Role

Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them develop confidence and English language skills. Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to ensure every child can access the curriculum. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and create a safe, welcoming classroom environment. Be a role model and help students settle, learn and thrive.

About You

Fluent in

Somali and English

(spoken and written). Previous experience supporting children or young people (in school or community settings). Calm, patient and enthusiastic -- with great communication skills. Experience with EAL/SEN pupils is

a bonus

, but not essential -- full training provided.
