Family Law Group is a forward thinking, leading firm of family law Solicitors specialising in all areas of family law including divorce & separation, child arrangements, care proceedings, matrimonial finance & property, mediation, collaborative law, forced marriage and domestic abuse injunctions.

About the role



We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident self-starter who can work under the direction of our Finance Manager. This is a full-time role and is office based at our Nottingham Head Office working 9am - 5pm.

This candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills with the ability to manage their own workload proactively and effectively and liaise and influence staff on all levels of the business.

The candidate should be forward thinking, with an eye for detail, professional, consistent, and confidential always.

Key Tasks include, but not limited to



Assisting the team with the preparation of bills (from raising pro-forma to sending bills) Working closely with the credit control team to follow up any client credit control queries. Coordinating with billing / cashiers regarding bill & disbursement amendments, transfer of time, write-offs, credit does not receipt, VAT issues, change of client address details etc. Producing documentation and correspondence Dispatching invoices Liaising with clients over the phone taking payments/chasing outstanding balances Assisting with the firm's disbursement processing Closing down files

About you



Demonstrable experience in a numerical and process-driven Administration role Previous experience in a similar Billing Admin role is advantageous. Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy Highly organised and methodical nature Strong IT and Excel skills including MS Office applications. Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels professionally and confidentially. Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Proactive, professional, and personable team player

Salary Range - starting salary 22,500 Dependant on experience



Full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - will consider a job share from two interested parties with relevant experience.
