Job Summary



The Billing and Accounts Receivable Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices, managing accounts receivable activities, and providing exceptional support to both external clients and internal stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency of our billing function, healthy cash flow and ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities



Generate and distribute customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and company policies Raise Credit Notes following company policies. Support the Credit Control team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve issues Assist with month-end billing closing processes Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation Contribute to process improvement initiatives within billing and AR functions Support the processing of new account applications in accordance with company policies Verify and validate client documentation for completeness and accuracy Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account setup status Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and client experience Take ownership of issues and pursue solutions to conclusion Ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications



Proven experience in billing and accounts receivable. Good understanding of financial principles and accounting practices Proficiency in evaluating credit worthiness of potential accounts Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
