About the Role
This an important role within Finance Operations, which will report directly to the Billing Manager. As a Billing Oversight Associate, the role holder is responsible for the oversight of the invoicing process across the Aberdeen Group. The role offers significant variety and opportunity to continually develop and transform the existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of third-party billing processes:Review of Complex base fee invoicing for our strategic partner client Review of Performance Fee invoicing Investment Management Agreement review and approval Invoice sample checking Controls testing to ensure appropriate and robust controls are in place to manage risk Review and approval of journal postings

Revenue related analytics and general ledger reconciliations:Month end revenue analytical review General ledger reconciliations

Assist with audit requests:Assist with answering audit queries

Manage key stakeholders:

Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships such as Client Management Team
Project support:Assist with projects and strategic initiatives as required

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:Relevant billing experience within investment management or a financial services environment Proficiency in financial systems and ERPs (e.g. Oracle) Excellent understanding of Investment Management Agreements and their fee calculations, including Performance Fees Experience assessing and implementing controls to manage risk Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle large datasets and complex models Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and clients Reconciliations experience is preferable
