Job Title: Billing Coordinator / Credit Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of billing coordination, including verifying billings accuracy, preparing invoices, and ensuring timely submission to clients.
  • Oversee credit control activities, maintaining regular follow-ups with clients for outstanding payments, resolving any billing queries or disputes.
  • Monitor debtor balances, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and implementing effective collection strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing documentation, ensuring data integrity within the accounting systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team, providing support during month and year-end accounting processes.
  • Conduct regular credit checks on existing and potential clients to assess creditworthiness.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar billing coordination/credit control role
  • Strong understanding of billing and credit
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients and resolve queries.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
