We're on the lookout for a

Billing & Financial Controls Manager

to take the reins of our end-to-end billing process for large-scale Meetings & Events. This is a pivotal role in our prestigious Entertaining & Hospitality division, ensuring every pound is accounted for, every invoice is accurate, and every event runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

Owning the end-to-end billing process for our high-profile events. Collaborating with Sales, Planning, and Operational teams to ensure revenue is captured accurately and efficiently. Designing smart systems and controls that keep us compliant and agile. Training new starters on financial processes (you'll be the go-to guru!). Managing aged debt and supporting forecasting and margin clarity. Supporting Hotel teams with cash handling, POS setup, and financial data. Acting as a financial partner to the Goodwood Hotel Management team.

You'll Also Be Responsible For

Coordinating billing plans and package setups with Sales and Planning. Spotting gaps, solving problems, and keeping our billing process sharp. Ensuring client invoices are issued promptly post-event. Overseeing financial operations across Hotel, Club, and Estate. Being the go-to for PDQ queries, refunds, and admin room management. Supporting new system rollouts and linking them to our finance platforms. Helping the Spa and Health Club teams with financial queries. Keeping reconciliations on track and jumping into ad hoc finance tasks.

What You'll Bring

A solid understanding of sales ledger processes. Confidence with MS Office, especially Excel (bonus points for formulas and pivot tables!). A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving. Flexibility in working hours and attitude, especially during peak event periods. A collaborative mindset and a love for making things work better.
