13 - 16 per hour including bonusWe are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bin Wagon Driver to operate waste collection vehicles and perform routine garbage and recycling pickups from residential and commercial areas. The ideal candidate will have experience driving large vehicles, knowledge of waste disposal procedures, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Operate bin wagons (refuse collection vehicles) in a safe and efficient manner. Collect and transport waste, recycling, and compost bins according to scheduled routes. Work closely with loaders to ensure timely and complete bin collection. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults or required maintenance. Ensure proper disposal of collected waste at designated facilities. Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Record collection data and report any issues such as blocked access or missed bins. Provide courteous service to the public and respond to inquiries when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
