About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused

Product Specialist - Applications

to join our field support team, serving the

North UK region

(Scotland and North of England). In this pivotal role, you will provide expert-level technical support for

immunoassay analyzers

, as well as

pre- and post-analytical solutions

in laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver

installation support

and oversee

system setup and workflow optimization

. Conduct

training sessions for laboratory scientists

on platforms and instrumentation. Offer

troubleshooting and technical support

to ensure minimal system downtime. Assist with

software modifications

,

system maintenance

, and

product upgrades

. Collaborate with customers to enhance system performance and laboratory efficiency. Participate in

tender support

,

product demonstrations

, and

customer review meetings

. Liaise with third-party vendors and Roche teams to deliver integrated support solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:



Degree in

Biomedical Science

,

Life Sciences

, or related field. Background as a

Biomedical Scientist

,

Application Support Specialist

, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with

diagnostic analyzers

. Knowledge of

clinical laboratory workflows

,

IVD instrumentation

, and

ISO/GxP environments

. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret

technical/scientific data

. Excellent communication and

customer relationship management

skills. Willingness to

travel extensively

across the

North of England and Scotland

. Valid UK driving license is essential.

Preferred Experience:



Previous experience supporting

chemistry and immunoassay platforms

. Understanding of

pre-analytical and post-analytical processes

. Familiarity with

clinical diagnostics

,

instrument validation

, and

system integration

.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 265.00-305.00 per day

Schedule:

Day shift * Monday to Friday
