Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blacksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques, including MMA & MIG welding, and possess the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG & MMA welding processes as required Fabricate metal components according to specifications Fabricate and install gates, railings and handrails to a high standard. Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materials Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and safe working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience

Proven experience in blacksmith and general fabrication and welding process. Familiarity with fabrication processes and techniques Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly procedures Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
