Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Blanker Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the blanking machinery that shapes and prepares materials for subsequent processing steps. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality components, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.

Duties

You will be operating a number of fast-moving Blanking machines in your role and will be focused on the day to day running of several fast-moving machines including undertaking tasks such as basic machine adjustments, lubrication of machinery and ensuring both housekeeping and quality standards are high whilst achieving production targets.

Skills

Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on machining or material processing. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery setup, operation, and maintenance. (desirable not essential) Familiarity with quality inspection techniques to ensure product standards are met. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Ability to resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.
The role will have 2 week day shift patterns that alternate each week, 5:30am - 2pm / 2pm - 10:30pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.08 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
