We are seeking a skilled and motivated Blast Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various hand tools and power tools. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and safety are paramount. The Blast Person will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and finishing, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Operate blasting equipment to prepare surfaces for coating or finishing Ensure all safety protocols are followed while using blasting materials Conduct routine maintenance on blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist in assembly tasks as required
Desirable

Familiarity with hand and power tools Understanding of 2 pack painting processes is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Excellent understanding of both written and verbal English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
