At Somerset Cider Solutions we produce a diverse range of craft and high-end drinks for both our UK and international customers, with a focus on quality and consistency every step of the way.

We are looking for a Blending Technician who we can provide with full training, in order to become a key member of our Production Team. This is a new role within the company, which has become available through our continued and rapid growth.

This is a versatile role which would suit someone from a number of different Production backgrounds. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve, who can comfortably work in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring our high standards are met at all times. Practical knowledge of working in a food and beverage manufacturing environment is desirable.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:

Weighing out and measuring of ingredients and additions for a variety of blended liquids Following of recipes and adjusting liquids made to meet final specifications Offloading and loading of bulk liquid tankers and IBC's Pumping of volumes of liquids between storage tanks Recording batch codes and volumes used Operating the mixing tanks and filters CIP of blending and storage tanks Care, maintenance and low level repair of plant and equipment Quality control on final blended products Use of laboratory equipment to test for ABV, specific gravity and other metrics

Our normal hours of work within blending and production departments are Monday to Friday, from 06:00 to 15:00, or from 08:00 to 17:00.

Pay: From 31,830.40 per year
