Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Blind and Cushion Maker to join our team. This role involves crafting high-quality blinds and cushions tailored to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to enhance communication with our diverse clientele.

Duties

Measure and cut materials accurately according to customer orders. Assemble and sew cushions and blinds using various fabrics and materials. Ensure all products meet quality standards before delivery. Maintain an organised workspace, keeping tools and materials in order. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Upsell additional products or services based on customer requirements. Perform data entry tasks related to orders and inventory management. Analyse production processes for efficiency improvements.

Skills

Proficiency in English; However we have a multitude of people working for us so we speak Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Greek. Ability to analyse situations and make informed decisions. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Previous experience in upholstery or textile work is advantageous but not essential.
