Blind/ Shutter Fitter

to join our expert team.

Previous experience installing blinds or shutter preferred. Transferrable skills such as a strong background in various construction-related skills will be considered. This role requires the candidate to be able to install a wide range of window treatments with precision and care excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Install various types of window treatments, including blinds and shutters ensuring proper fit and functionality. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for suitable products. Perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Will have at least 2 years experience surveying or installing blinds or shutters. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to installation tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and understanding their requirements. Problem-solving abilities to address any challenges that may arise during installations.
