Blockchain Development Trainer

to help aspiring developers gain confidence and real-world skills through expert coaching and work-simulated projects.

Role Overview

As a Blockchain Development Trainer, you will deliver practical, engaging instruction in blockchain fundamentals, smart contract development, and decentralized application (dApp) deployment. More importantly, you'll mentor learners as they complete project-based experiences that simulate work in Web3 companies, helping them build strong portfolios and interview-ready skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teach foundational and advanced blockchain concepts, including: Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana or Polygon ecosystems Solidity programming and smart contract development dApp architecture and Web3 integration (e.g., with MetaMask) Token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721) Blockchain security and auditing fundamentals Deliver live or recorded training sessions, adapting content for different skill levels. Mentor students on completing real-world blockchain development projects from end to end. Guide learners in deploying smart contracts, creating blockchain-powered apps, and interacting with testnets/mainnets. Assist students in documenting their work and publishing on GitHub, so they can showcase experience to employers. Collaborate with the curriculum design team to keep materials updated with fast-moving industry standards. Provide feedback and guidance during code reviews, project demos, and mock interviews.

Student Work Experience Framework (You Will Facilitate)

You will help students complete 2-3 real-world simulated blockchain projects that mirror the type of work expected in a junior blockchain developer role. Each project should include:

: Functional dApp with wallet integration and test transactions
These projects will help learners build a credible GitHub portfolio and CV-ready work experience.

Requirements

Proven experience developing blockchain applications or smart contracts in a professional or freelance setting. Strong grasp of Ethereum or other blockchain ecosystems, token standards, and decentralized principles. Proficiency with Solidity, Web3.js/Ethers.js, and frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry. Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring in a technical subject (formal or informal). Ability to explain complex technical topics in an easy-to-understand way. Comfortable reviewing code, giving feedback, and helping students troubleshoot.
Preferred

Exposure to DeFi, DAO structures, or zero-knowledge proofs Understanding of blockchain security issues and common vulnerabilities Experience deploying to mainnets and using blockchain APIs (e.g., Infura, Alchemy)
