The Blue Yonder Enterprise Architect will be at the heart of this, shaping the Blue Yonder WMS solutions of our future warehouse operating model across the M&S Foods and Gist business. Being creative, curious, and fearless, you will be an integral part of our empowered, self-managing, multi-disciplinary engineering teams - designing, building, releasing, and maintaining our Blue Yonder estate. Leveraging, and implementing leading technologies and championing these changes with GIST and M&S colleagues.

What you'll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
Build, maintain and support high-quality, reliable software and own it with a high degree of automation
Define and maintain enterprise-wide BY Dispatcher WMS architecture standards, patterns, and reference models
Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical governance boards
Serve as the technical authority across the WMS Transformation deployments
Align WMS architecture with broader supply chain platforms (ERP, TMS, LMS, YMS)
Drive DevOps practices to automate the development life cycle
Demonstrate and champion pragmatism in terms of commercial delivery and software quality
Responsible for the solution design and quality of delivery within our Blue Yonder WMS estate
Influence and collaborate with the wider Digital and Technology functions to implement the technical strategy, adopting the North Star principles in line with business objectives
Coach, support and guide Senior Engineers to produce clean, quality code through code reviews and pair programming, providing technical expertise, direction and support to multiple engineering teams for complex projects
Working closely with the business, delivery & leadership team
Who you are:
Your skills and experience will include:
Extensive and deep understanding of specifically Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS
A knowledge of Blue Yonder Discrete would be advantageous, but not essential
Strong experience of managing successful delivery of Blue Yonder WMS within an automated warehouse.
Understanding of Cloud-based WMS solutions (e.g. BY SaaS)
Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution concepts
Extensive background in software engineering with 10+ years' experience in a variety of systems and technologies
Strong understanding of testing strategies and reliability engineering
killed at influencing stakeholders across all levels, from senior leadership to both technical and non-technical audiences
Leading large product areas with 5+ teams
Previous software engineering community leadership experience
Presentation delivery at internal and external events
Knowledge of Software approaches such as Domain Driven Design
Experience in event driven API architectures and associated best practises
Ability to provide constructive challenge to technology and operational teams to support successful delivery
Strong experience in JAVA and strong knowledge of PL/SQL
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, GIT and Jenkins
