?Are you interested in delivering an exciting partnership project between and Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust to engage local people with rivers and wildlife on their doorsteps? Do you have a background in project managing access to nature and/or wildlife recovery? If so, we would love to hear from you.
?This is a role developed in partnership with Essex & Suffolk Water, part of the Northumbrian Water Group (NWG), to deliver the programme and set up a programme of river enhancement projects in Essex and Suffolk.
The full-time role will be split with three days a week delivering the Bluespaces programme and the remaining time being spent facilitating partnership working in Essex, including coordinating the Essex Rivers Hub Catchment Partnership group. Partnership working will bring benefits to both activities and help foster long term relationships across the region.
NWG has developed the Bluespaces programme to deliver improvements to the water environment for the benefit of their customers. The programme funds partnership projects investing in biodiversity, water quality and access and recreational facilities focused around accessible areas of rivers, lakes, coasts, beaches, and other water environments.
You will be supported by other members of the collaborative Bluespaces Team, working across NWG and with delivery partners, as well as by other Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust staff.
The role will line manage the Bluespaces Officer at the ESRT who will support the delivery of the programme and the Volunteer and Community Involvement Officer at ESRT steering them towards expanding our volunteering programme at ESRT.
