Bluestones Staffing is working with a leading distribution company in Greysteel area due to continued growth they have a requirement for immediate start senior dispatch clerk.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
Routing and distribution of orders in various areas in an economical and efficient manner
Ordering product through various supplier IT systems for all locations.
Stock control and reconciliation (back up when required)
Daily confirmation and invoicing of product (back up when required)
Direct sales via yard e.g., lubricants and other products
Order processing where necessary when customers call at dispatch office
Dealing with customer queries as to delivery instructions etc.
Handling and control of driver documentation and cash
Driver timesheets and vehicle maintenance requests
Liaising with other depots about day-to-day procedures such as deliveries, depot stock, lorry and driver availability etc.
Vehicle Maintenance requests
Telephone, post and filing
Back up if required for other locations during holidays or sick leave
Forklift duties if required
Experience, Skills and Attributes
Two years’ experience essential
· An understanding and appreciation for the importance of prioritising workload whilst managing and motivating your team. · Have strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
· Have good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
· Good customer service skills
· Competent in Microsoft Office suite (most importantly Excel and Word)
Hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm on an office rota system
Monday to Saturday
42.5-hour week (30minute unpaid lunch break)
£22650 per annum
