As a Boarding Assistant you will be a valued member of the boarding team, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of your House. You will play an important part in the care, wellbeing and academic progress of pupils, many of whom are international students.
You will be required to be present in the House prior to the start of each term to help the school prepare for the return of the boarders. The role also includes Holiday School duties, supporting international students attending our summer and holiday programmes. On which you will help deliver a fun, safe and engaging experience through activities, excursions and evening events.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the daily routines of boarders, including morning and evening duties
Provide academic and pastoral support including help with prep.
Assisting with the organisation of evening and weekend activities
Supporting pupils as needed during the day
The nature of a 24 hour a day, 7 days per week school requires staff to work flexibly.
What we are looking for
Educated to A-level or equivalent
Experience of working with young people
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to supervise activities and trips
