We're looking for a

Boat Builder

with

painting and spraying experience

to join our production team. You'll work on the finishing stages of our wooden and GRP yachts, ensuring each one leaves the workshop looking exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and finishing of wooden and GRP surfaces to a high standard. Application of marine coatings, paints, and varnishes using both spray and brush techniques. Fairing, sanding, masking, and surface preparation prior to painting. Work from build specifications and drawings to ensure consistent, high-quality results. Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and maintain finish quality across all boats.

About You

Proven experience in

painting, spraying, or finishing

within boatbuilding, automotive, or a related trade. Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality finishes. Knowledge of marine coatings, two-pack paints, and varnishing techniques. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, skilled team. Reliable, motivated, and able to work to deadlines without compromising quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Cardigan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
