What is the job?

We are looking for energetic and talented people to open and grow the Riverside Spa and as Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional wellness treatments to our clients. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our customers, promoting their overall well-being and satisfaction. You'll consult with each client to fully understand their personal needs and be committed to delivering high quality, exceptional treatments. As a Spa Therapist you'll also maximise revenue through proactive selling of high-quality spa retail (Supplier) products.

40 hours per week

Pay

Up to 13.52 per hour, depending on age

About The Role

Your day to day

Provide a wide range of beauty and spa treatments to clients, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other specialized services. Assess clients' needs, preferences, and any existing medical conditions to tailor treatments accordingly, ensuring their comfort and safety. Conduct consultations with clients to determine their goals and expectations, offering professional advice and guidance on suitable treatments and products. Perform spa treatments with precision and expertise, utilizing appropriate techniques and products to achieve desired outcomes. Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil spa environment, ensuring adherence to strict hygiene and sanitation standards. Keep accurate records of client information, treatment details, and any recommended follow-up care. Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service, building rapport with clients and fostering a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and industry developments in spa and therapy through continuous learning and professional development. Promote spa products, packages, and memberships to clients, showcasing their benefits and providing personalized recommendations. Collaborate with other team members, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.

Required Criteria

Spa UK Qualified to NVQ level 3 or ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO (or equivalent in beauty massage). In-depth knowledge of various spa and beauty treatments, techniques, and products Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and skin care principles Excellent customer service skills with a warm and friendly demeanor Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members Outstanding time management and organizational skills High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality treatments At least 1 years experience working as a Spa or Beauty Therapist, ideally within a hotel spa or destination spa environment Strong knowledge of spa and beauty treatments, techniques, and professional-grade products
