Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver/valeter to join our team (Full or Part-Time). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operations efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to drive various types of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Collecting and delivery of customer vehicles. Cleaning of customer and company vehicles as required Assist customers with parking and provide directions as needed. Monitor the parking lot for any unusual activity or issues, reporting them promptly to management. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the parking area, ensuring all signage is visible and in good condition. Operate various vehicles, including vans and flatbeds, as required for transporting goods or assisting with deliveries. Perform basic mechanical checks on vehicles when necessary, demonstrating a good level of mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence; experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
