Bodyshop Operations Assistant



Annual Salary: 19,047.60



Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm, although flexible working hours will be considered.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Bodyshop Operations Assistant to join our highly skilled team at our leading automotive Volkswagen Group Accident Repair Centre, where our priority is a working environment that focuses on the highest quality of customer service and repairs.

About the Role:



As a Bodyshop Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our Bodyshop. Your responsibilities will range from front-of-house duties, such as customer reception and handling enquiries, to assisting with driving, holiday cover for the parts advisor, and supporting the valeting team. You'll be a key team member who ensures our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining operational flow of the business.

Key Responsibilities:



Reception and Customer Service:

Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, assist with booking in vehicles, and provide updates on job progress.

Driving:

Collect and deliver vehicles to customers or partner locations as required.

Valeting Support:

Assist with vehicle cleaning and preparation for handover to customers.

General Administrative Duties:

Manage associated paper work and ensure all job cards and vehicle details and accurately recorded.

Team Support:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the Bodyshop.

About You:



We are looking for a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a multi-tasking environment.

Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the automotive or service industry. A full, clean driving licence (essential) Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Flexibility to cover different roles as needed, including supporting parts advisor and valeting staff. A keen interest in the automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
