Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a background in kitchen operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. We do offer all training in house so previous experience is not essential. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of food safety, and working in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Prepare a wide range of foods and garnishes. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production. Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cooking and presentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
