is a well-respected and growing M&E contractor, and we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to become a central point of support within our busy operations.
The Role:
This is a varied and challenging role where you will be integral to the smooth running of our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
Order Processing:
Managing incoming purchase orders from our valued customers, processing them accurately, and issuing timely order acknowledgements.
Material Procurement:
Liaising with suppliers to source and procure materials at competitive prices, maintaining strong working relationships. Efficiently and accurately processing purchase orders for materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to our sites.
Stores Management:
Taking charge of our stores, including unloading deliveries, and organising materials for projects.
Documentation Control:
Managing and organising project-related documentation, including delivery notes, purchase orders, engineers reports and other essential paperwork.
General Administration:
Providing comprehensive administrative support to the contracts managers and site teams, including handling phone calls, responding to emails, and other ad hoc duties as required.
Entering invoices onto the Xero accounts system:
Payment to suppliers:
Reconciliation of credit card and bank accounts:
Booking of accommodation:
Chasing debts:
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who is a natural organiser with a keen eye for detail. The ideal individual will possess:
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Experience within the construction or M&E industry is highly advantageous but not essential.
Strong IT skills,
with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build rapport with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
A proactive and 'can-do' attitude,
with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ability to multitask and prioritise
a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
A full UK driving license
is desirable due to the nature of the role, which may require occasional travel to our sites.
