We are looking for a proactive and well-organised

Booking In Operative

to join our Intake team at MM Flowers. In this key role, you'll manage the coordination of trailer and delivery bookings, ensuring accurate scheduling, efficient bay allocations, and a seamless intake process. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with internal teams and hauliers, this role could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule trailers and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate bay allocation Cross-check deliveries with consignment paperwork and expected product lists Act as the first point of contact for hauliers and drivers, providing clear instructions on arrival Maintain accurate booking records and generate daily intake reports Communicate any issues, such as delays or missing stock, to the Section Manager and wider team Support health and safety compliance by managing delivery movements in line with site procedures Identify opportunities to streamline the booking process and reduce delays

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in logistics, intake, or warehouse booking roles Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with a professional approach to liaising with internal and external stakeholders Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures Desirable: experience with trailer movement scheduling or transport coordination
