We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join our Bookings Team and help drive venue usage. This hands-on support role involves direct customer interaction, efficient administration, and proactive efforts to fill more slots -- all from our welcoming head office with full equipment provided.
Duties
Handle customer enquiries (phone, email, online platform) and guide hirers through available venues, pricing, and booking processes
Manage new bookings, changes, cancellations, and ensure accurate records
Resolve issues professionally, collect feedback, and turn satisfied customers into repeat hirers
Proactively increase venue occupancy: identify quiet slots, suggest promotions, upsell facilities, and build relationships
Support and grow our online presence -- especially on LinkedIn (posting content, sharing venue highlights, engaging with potential customers) and other platforms
Liaise with school partners and assist with general team admin/reporting
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and a genuine passion for great customer service
Strong organisational skills -- able to multitask enquiries, bookings, and changes effectively
Proactive mindset with a sales-oriented approach (experience in upselling, revenue growth, or venue hire is a big plus)
Comfortable with booking systems/software (full training provided)
Social media experience, particularly LinkedIn for business promotion
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in an office team environment
Previous experience in customer service, admin, bookings, lettings, hospitality, or similar is advantageous -- but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are what matter most!
