Bookkeeper | \xc2\xa324,000 - \xc2\xa330,000 + Study | Bolton + Hybrid | Fantastic team and culture | Rapidly-growing firm

Axon Moore have partnered with a rapidly-expanding firm, based in Bolton, as they seek to bolster their team with the addition of a Bookkeeper after enjoying a period of sustained growth. This varied role requires solid accounting experience and is well suited to those with a background in AAT. Moreover, as team-spirit and culture-fit is paramount to this business, candidates must be personable, confident and able to develop long-standing working relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Prepare and file VAT returns
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations and legislation
• Maintain confidential financial information
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Ad-hoc duties

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3 years\' experience in a Bookkeeping role (desired)
• AAT Qualified (desired)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting regulations and legislation
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced IT and MS Excel skills
• Good knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QB, Sage etc.)
