We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Bookkeeper

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of

UK tax laws

and experience managing day-to-day financial records for small to medium-sized businesses.

This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company, and

visa sponsorship may be offered

to eligible candidates following a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance Support monthly and year-end financial reporting Liaise with accountants and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Solid understanding of

UK accounting and tax regulations

Prior experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) Good communication skills

Desirable:

AAT or similar accounting qualification Experience working in a UK-based accounting or finance firm

Additional Information:

Full-time, office-based.
