Job Description

The Executive Cars Group

are a leading provider of chauffeur driven transport working predominantly for large corporate organisations. The role is responsible for managing financial transactions with precision and efficiency. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, managing expenses, and overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Deliver regular financial performance reports to senior management Conduct variance analysis, highlighting key drivers of performance Provide recommendations to improve profitability and financial efficiency

Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop and maintain annual budgets in collaboration with department heads Prepare rolling forecasts based on historical data and market trends Support scenario planning and long-term financial modelling

Cost Control & Profitability

Monitor and analyse business costs across department Identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies Assist in pricing strategies and margin analysis, particularly in relation to chauffeur services when requested by Directors

Payroll

payroll processing with accuracy and compliance Review payroll reports and process RTI Ensure chauffeur statements are reviewed and approved and paid in line with service agreements

Financial Operations & Compliance

Ensure accurate and timely VAT return submissions Liaise with external accountants or auditors as required Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations

Client & Supplier Financial Oversight

Review client invoices and work with operations to ensure billing accuracy Process accounts payable and receivable functions Manage credit control and cash flow optimisation Help streamline financial workflows and automation of reporting

Essential Qualifications and Skills:



Proven experience (5+ years preferred) as a bookkeeper or accounts specialist Knowledge of VAT regulations and returns Strong knowledge of payroll processing and relevant regulations Proficiency in expense management and invoice processing Excellent communication skills for liaising with chauffeurs, clients, and internal teams Advanced proficiency in financial software, particularly Xero High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:



Experience in the luxury service or transportation industry Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis Understanding of data privacy and financial confidentiality practices
