We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, PAYE and employee holiday records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with employees and management to support their accounting needs.
Duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quick Books accounting software.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Manage sales invoices and ensure timely receipts from customers.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports from QB.
Manage and monitor cash flow.
Calculate and process payroll using SAGE software.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Collaborate with employees and other departments to record and maintain holiday records.
Skills
Proficiency in Quick Books accounting software is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members, customers and suppliers.
