Bookkeeper - Newport, South Wales
We are working with a reputable firm of Accountants who are looking recruit an experienced Bookkeeper in a Firm of Accountants in Newport, Gwent.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience of working in an Accountancy Firm.
The AAT qualification would be an advantage but not a requirement.
Duties
Preparing VAT returns Resolve client VAT queries Preparation of Accounts Posting invoices onto software Reconciling bank on software VAT administration Assisting clients in the use of various software packages Previous experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Kashflow and office management software like Microsoft Office (namely Word & Excel) Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills
