This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper with a background in construction or trades. You'll play a key role in keeping our finances organised, supporting job costing, invoicing, CIS reporting, and more. This role offers flexibility and the option to work from home on occasion.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or similar software
Process invoices, receipts, and payments
Manage accounts payable/receivable and subcontractor payments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Handle CIS reporting and basic payroll support
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with VAT returns
Coordinate with our external accountant
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper (construction or trades industry preferred)
Familiarity with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
Proficient in, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
AAT qualification (or similar) desirable but not essential
