We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be proficient in Xero. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting software or systems as needed.
Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
