We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data and reports.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Excellent numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
