The Designer Rooms, an established independent furniture retailer with our Head Office based in Dundonald, is seeking a
part-time Bookkeeper
to join our team.
We're looking for someone who is
highly organised, honest, discreet, and trustworthy
, with excellent attention to detail and proven bookkeeping experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting company directors with general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Processing
payroll
using
Xero Payroll
Handling and filing
financial paperwork
Preparing and submitting
VAT returns
Managing
accounts payable and receivable
Raising invoices
and reconciling accounts
Maintaining and updating
financial databases and software
(including
Xero
)
Performing
bank and cash reconciliations
Providing
general administrative support
to company directors
Hours & Benefits
16 hours per week
(flexible schedule available)
Wages will be pro rata
