Solutions at Work Limited is a busy, outsourced legal cashroom and bookkeeping business, based in Kirkcaldy with clients throughout the UK.
Due to continued expansions we are looking for an experienced lbookkeeper/accounts assistant.
Working as part of an established, supportive and friendly team, you will be required to: -
Posting client and office account transactions.
Daily bank reconciliations.
Bank payments (BACS and CHAPS) and transfers between accounts.
Liaise with clients and deal with their queries.
Month end processes.
Assisting with the preparation of client VAT Returns.
The successful candidate must have the following skills:-
Previous bookkeeping.
Strong IT literacy (Excel, Outlook etc).
Strong numerical skills.
Experience working with multiple accounting software packages.
An understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and ledger based accounting.
Excellent communication skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A desire to learn quickly and to work hard in a fast paced business.
