Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team based in our office in London Billingsgate Fish Market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved Input invoices and manage credit control to ensure timely payments Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards

Skills

Must have experience with Sage 50 accounting software Strong understanding of accounts payable processes Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Good communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
