Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit
VAT returns
accurately and on time.
Maintain
up-to-date financial records
, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform
daily bookkeeping tasks
, including posting transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, and processing invoices.
Conduct
bank reconciliations
and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
Generate
monthly and ad-hoc financial reports
for management.
Respond to and manage
phone call queries
related to invoices, payments, and account information.
Support the finance team with
day-to-day reporting and record maintenance
.
Assist with audits, budgeting, and financial documentation when required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
in an accounting or finance environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks
(essential). Knowledge of Sage or Xero is an advantage.
Strong understanding of
VAT processes, reconciliation, and reporting
.
Excellent
attention to detail
, accuracy, and time management skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to handle
financial calls and client interactions
professionally.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
A qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not mandatory.
