To work with, and assist, colleagues and management in any way necessary to ensure the smooth running of the office
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for clients to include sales, purchases and bank accounts
Bank account reconciliation
Maintain accounting records on Xero
Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Preparation of bookkeeping records to trial balance stage
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and experience of financial processes within an accounting environment
Experience of working with Xero
Good knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT
Competent in excel
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent written and oral communication
Ability to manage own workload
Keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
Adaptable and organised
